Construction of 4 lane flyover at Bhulta, Narayanganj on Dhaka - Sylhet National Highway.

Project Dhaka-Sylhet National Highway (N2) intersects with Dhaka Bypass National Highway (N105) at Bhulta, 25th Km of Dhaka- Sylhet National Highway (N2). Huge no of vehicles move on both the highways. Moreover Bhulta area of Rupganj Upazilla is a busy commercial area. Because of the excessive traffic volume and dwellers nearby, traffic jam occurs almost all the time, causing slow movement of vehicles and loss of time enormously. Road accidents happen frequently in this road. In the busy day time, traffic jam of length 2 km to 3 km develops on both the Higways. PC Girder Bridges along Dhaka-Sylhet National Highway (N2) will be dismantled and a Box Culvert will be constructed. Water logging is one of the main problems of the adjacent places of this road. That's why provision of drain for water drainage is also included. Footpath will be constructed beside the drain for passersby. Earth work is needed to widen the road N2 and N105 to 8- Lane. After the earthwork, new flexible pavement will be constructed. Except these, New Jersey barrier, kurb stone for lane separation, three intersections, extension of culverts, utility shifting, plantation, sign, signal, road marking items are also induded.
